Setting Up Affiliate Datafeed Powered Sites

Affiliate marketers or anyone wanting to make more money online can do so by building websites or blogs using product datafeeds.
Datafeeds aren’t as complicated or mysterious as some people would like you to think. Product datafeeds are simply files that list in detail, product names, descriptions, sizes, prices, shipping costs, image and landing page links for hundreds or even thousands of items. Online merchants with many products make these datafeeds available to increase their sales by having their affiliates build sites or individual product pages with them.
These datafeeds are usually free and are available after joining an affiliate network such as ShareASale.com. Commission Junction, another popular affiliate network however will charge a fee if an affiliate doesn’t meet a minimum monthly sales quota in order to use their datafeeds.
These datafeeds can be downloaded to an office or home PC or FTP directly into a directory of the acutal website or blog using the feed.
Creating websites or blogs using datafeeds was once reserved for someone with a background in web and database programming. Today however, various third party services, software or scripts make the tasks of adding datafeed items to websites or blogs easier for anyone regardless of experience.
Services that turn raw datafeeds into a form that can be added immediately to a website or blog charge a monthly subscription. Scripts or programs that do almost the same thing as these services, but for a limited number of datafeeds or affiliate networks charge only a one time fee.
